Transportation
We take our responsibility very seriously and do everything possible to ensure your child’s safety while in our care. Our skilled bus drivers are trained and certified according to the strict laws and regulations of the state of Arizona.
Sonoita School District contracts with Patagonia Union High School for all our student transportation needs. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact (520) 394-3025.
Bus Procedures
Safety is paramount. Please help us keep everyone safe and healthy by adhering to the following protocol.
Waiting for the bus:
- Pre-screen students at home for symptoms every morning.
- Students are to wait in their parent’s vehicle to maintain social distance.
- We will screen students before they enter the bus.
- Parents must remain present to take possible sick students home.
Loading and Unloading:
- Students will enter the bus at the back and exit at the front.
- Siblings will sit together to allow for bus capacity.
- Everyone must wear a face mask while riding the bus.
- If possible, there will be an empty seat between every student.
- Students will sit as close to the windows as possible.
- Students may not change seats.
