Substitutes

Substitute Teachers
Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Valid Arizona Substitute Teaching Certificate
  • Ability to teach to the Arizona state standards
  • Fingerprint clearance card
  • Proof of MMR immunization

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Making knowledge accessible to all students
  • Developing students' cognitive capacity and respect for learning
  • Fostering students' self-esteem, motivation, and sense of civic responsibility

Paraprofessional Substitute
Position Summary:

  • On-call substitute to cover during staff absences
  • Assist students with special needs
  • Assist teachers in classroom teaching responsibilities

Position Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Related education or experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Fingerprint clearance card
  • Proof of MMR immunization
